Descrizione
For serious beginners hungry for the tone of a Les Paul Custom, but want the meaner looks and lighter body of an SG, the brilliantly priced Epiphone SG Custom will take care of every one of your needs. This double cut, devil-horned solidbody from the Original Series is supported by a 1960s SlimTaper neck, that has a playing feel that comes as close as it gets to that of a Gibson. The two mounted Probuckers, CTS potentiometers and vintage wiring finish that legendary thick sound this model is so famous for while a genuine Kalamazoo-style headstock sits proudly at the top of the neck.

Mooie Epiphone SG gitaar voor een mooie prijs.
Zo uit de doos blijkt de gitaar heel goed afgesteld te zijn en goed bespeelbaar.
De gitaar heeft de gibson headstock,wat er heel mooi uitziet.
De ebony toets ziet er heel mooi uit,fretwerk en binding is heel goed gedaan,de potmeters draaien heel soepel,en doen hun werk goed.
Stem mechanieken zien er mooi uit ,draaien heel licht en houden de gitaar goed op stemming.
De wat slankere hals speelt lekker, wel even wennen als je wat steviger halzen gewent bent.
In vergelijking met een Les Paul is de gitaar uiteraard een stuk lichter.
Ook de klank klinkt wat lichter als bij een Les Paul, maar er zit nog genoeg laag in als je dat wilt, vooral met het hals element.
Het brug element klinkt lekker old school hardrock, richting ACDC en Black Sabbath.
Al met al een hele leuke gitaar !.

This guitar certainly looks the business, and sounds the business too. Build quality, particularly with the frets, is what I've come to expect from Epiphone. Which to say they're not perfect but they are workable. Minor detractor in my book, as it actually feels comfortable enough to play. It also stayed in tune while playing Back In Black.
